Quick Connect System
- Manufactured to the quality system of ISO 9001 and NSF-61 standards.
- NSF-61 standards tested and have a maximum operating pressure of 200 PSI at a maximum continuous operating temperature of 180°F. Higher temperatures and pressures are permissible; please consult with manufacturer.
- Fittings utilize forged yellow brass bodies meeting ASTM B-283 standard with stainless steel gripping teeth and shall use EPDM seals that are certified to NSF-61 standards service/li>
- Fittings use pre-lubricated EPDM seals – No lubrication necessary
COPRO fittings have been Manufactured in compliance with IAPMO IGC 188-04c and received IAPMO’s UPC seal. In addition, COPRO quick connection plumbing fittings comply with the new ASSE 1061 standard established in 2006.
Listing conforms to the requirements of NSF/ANSI Standard 61 – Drinking Water System Components – Health Effects.
Tests were performed on copper and Stainless Steel. COPRO’s standards are much higher than the DVGW standard, which is known as the strictest standard in the world – even more than IAPMO. COPRO products will stand up to 1000 daN (2250 pounds) pull force while the DVGW specification is 340 daN(765 pounds.) As you can see COPRO products exceed the DVGW specifications!
The American Society of Sanitary Engineers has developed a new standard of listing approval for quick connection plumbing fittings used on potable water. This standard, ASSE 1061, was approved in July 2006. Copro, which has already received IGC-188 approval and NSF61, has been tested to the ASSE 1061 standards for all of it’s quick connection plumbing products.
